Liancourt, Haiti
Near the center of Haiti, 2 hours 30 minutes drive to the North of the Star of Hope office, lies Liancourt. It's one of the rarest sites in Haiti, where they grow rice. Liancourt is also highly famous for voodoot. The local population is estimated to be over 36.000 people. The school supported by Star of Hope has over 300 kids, in nine grades.
The committee in charge of the school also manages development programs Star of Hope has supported such as water projects, school construction and school library.
